We LOVE going to this Dentist. Awesome staff and the bedside manners are First Class! Dr. Halum answers all questions & doesn’t rush your visit. The staff takes time to bring comfort to patient for a easy visit. The wait time isn’t long either!
We have taken my 3 year old there 3 times now. First 2 times we weren't successful at getting him to let them clean his teeth-dr Kurt was able to do an exam but no cleaning . Third time he let them clean and took X-rays. Every time the staff have been AMAZING with him!! They never push him and are willing to work with his level of comfort. (They cleaned his teeth while he sat is daddy's lap instead of chair. ) they are focused on kids there and it is obvious that the office is full of people who care about the kids walking in the door.
My son is 10 years old, has autism, and is non-verbal. Before going to Happy Chompers he was seeing many other dentists who would not even give him the time of day because of his special needs. They kept giving me referral after referral. I was referred to Dr. Halum by a friend about 4 years ago and have been coming to him ever since. He did some work on my sons teeth that prior dentists had "missed" and has been extremely patient with him. His staff is amazing and the office is great and inviting. My son has since warmed up to the dentist visits, each time becoming more and more comfortable. Highly recommend this office!
This place is just amazing! I was recommended by a friend because my daughter was traumatized from going to Kool Smiles where she was held down and blind folded during a procedure (that was not even needed in the first place) and they would not stop even though she was having a panic attack. I was so worried about having her even going anywhere for even a check up at the age of 6 , worried she would flip out. After just a few minutes of walking in and meeting the staff and getting to know the doctor, she sat still for a check up and was so happy. She is now almost 12 and so comfortable going to the dentist. I’m so very thankful for Dr. Halum and his wonderful staff, and so happy that my daughter is not afraid of going to the dentist anymore!
My son has Autism and absolutely loves Dr. Halum. His whole staff have always been wonderful with our son. They make him feel comfortable and take care of his concerns and fears. He looks forward to his Dentist appointments. They are professional, understanding, patient, always have smiles on their faces and always treat us with kindness. Very happy here!
