This pet store is truly for the reptile enthusiast. With a nice variety of snakes, lizards, and even desert tortoises and tropical fish this place is truly wild. They carry a variety of food, lighting, and other supplies to keep your scaley friends in comfort and health. The curator is always ready with knowledge and advice. A very nice place to shop.
Don't listen to the other reviews, this place is definitely worth checking out! The owner/employee clearly knows what he is doing and what he's talking about. We came in today (hesitant due to the bad reviews) for the first time to look at the tortoise selection and ask some questions and he was EXTREMELY helpful in knowledge about turtles and tortoises and steered me in the direction of what animal would work best for my space and experience. As for conditions, the place did smell, but it smelled like ANIMALS AND FISH. not like death? i don't think the people writing the mean reviews have ever been around fish before, they aren't exactly odorless. The reptiles were in smaller enclosures but were in good shape and were obviously well taken care of and active, so they're most likely taken out a lot. the guy breeds his own reptiles expertly, and they are healthy and are friendly toward humans! they were all interested in me when i walked past the tanks, it was cool! definitely a neat place even if you aren't in the market for a pet to see some cool animals and meet knowledgeable people.i hope to be making a purchase soon!
Best place to go to for reptile and reptile food. Lovely selection of
I went in looking for a leopard gecko I could breed to my male next season. He told me when I walked in that he knew the genetics of the geckos, which he bred himself. I asked for a specific morph of leopard gecko and he had no idea what he was talking about. I asked him for a female and he completely sexed the gecko wrong as it was a male. He told me he didn't need to know the genetics of the geckos he is breeding because they are "his type" of gecko so genetics don't matter. Not to mention, he feeds his geckos pinkies and disagrees with their insectivore diet. Very unhappy with my visit.
Great place! The guy even helped my brother's turtle find a new home. Great exotic animals! I love it!
