We had an initial positive experience with Candace during the purchasing of our home. It was not until recently that we discovered that she completed part of the purchasing agreement without informing us. Due to this lack of knowledge we were required to pay the taxes for the previous year instead of the builder. Roughly $2,000. By not informing us of this, we did not have enough in our escrow as we were unaware of needing to put aside at closing, and had to pay the amount out of pocket. Very disappointed this was not discussed or caught at closing and brought to attention at that time. When confronting her on the issue, she stated it is "a block she normally checks at closing to avoid buying having to pay for any back taxes". Hmm sure didn't work out in this case.
