What I don't understand is how can the buses leave on time at the original destination such as the airport or the schools, but the connector in Highland not be able to maintain the same schedule or at least a moderate semblance of adherence to the posted schedule through Coach USA.
We for one, will not be purchasing anymore bus tickets from them the remaining four years of our son going to school in Indiana. Burn us once shame on us, burn us twice shame on you!
Too bad they dont allow the 1/2 star option because in my opinion this place is an absolute nightmare. Dont bother calling after 4pm because they will not answer the phone and when they do you are given the impression that you have somehow inconvenienced them. The drivers are friendly but the staff at the counter is rude. If you have the opportunity to buy your ticket online I highly recommend it. The less interaction with the staff the better. If you are leaving your car in their lot, try to park close because its poorly lit and difficult to drive through once its full. Happy trails!!!
The ticket agents are really friendly. Can't think of an easier and worry free way of getting to and from the airport. Free parking here for your vehicle and round trip to O'Hare for around $50 makes it affordable as well. The buses are clean and comfortable as well.
Awful customer service, and not the first time. I called just to ask a few questions (because their new schedule PDF that's online is confusing) and after clearly carrying on with other conversations twice while I was on the line, the agent came back to the phone and tried to answer me as briefly as she could. I even overheard her conversation with a disgruntled driver, who was cursing and planning to quit. Sooo, there's that. Despite this, I was as polite as I could be as I'm sure she was having a rough day, but I knew my attempts to get help were fruitless. I gave up, I said thank you, and all that I heard in return was "click" -- No "goodbye" or anything from the agent.
Really Disappointed today! After waiting almost 3 hours at Midway Airport in the middle of a weekday afternoon for a scheduled bus never to show. We never received any explanation or apoligy! This is not the first time this has happened! There becoming very undependable. Thinking it's time to start driving to the airport again!
This Shuttle Stop could not be any worse or unprofessional. We used the Coach USA for years transporting our daughter to and from Notre Dame University with little to no issues. Since Coach USA has started offering this service at Valparaiso University, where our son attends, this Shuttle Service has been nothing but delinquent in their duties, delayed or behind schedule, and no one seems to know or care about it. Over Thanksgiving break my son waited an hour for his connector to arrive after being dropped off from the O'Hare Shuttle. Today on the way to O'Hare our son was 45 minutes late to the airport and subsequently missed his flight, which resulted in us losing the bargain airfare we purchased due to the change fees, and we ended up having to buy a second ticket with another airlines. Thanks Coach.
Either offer a route that is consistent and on time or don't. But do not leave you passengers stranded as this Tri State Coach line, as this shuttle service continues to do.
