They could have just replaced the brakes and I wouldn't have known the difference. I was (and am) very impressed with the honesty displayed. When I REALLY did need brakes, I returned to them.
Also, I had a dashboard light come on while on a road trip by myself. I called Wolski's and Bill helped me through it by telling me what to do. Thankfully it wasn't anything serious. Talking with him gave me the peace of mind to continue on my trip without further incident.
My wife and I have always had two cars. For many years we dealt with other repair facilities but a few years ago when we felt repairs were getting too expensive we were given a tip from an employee at Advance Auto Parts who told us about Wolski's. We tried them out and have been there ever since. The prices are fair, the scheduling is accurate, the service is friendly and if they cannot do the work they will not only tell you so but will give you a referral to a facility that is reasonably priced and reliable. I recommend Wolski's.
After being told by the Toyota dealer that I needed new brakes, I called around for prices elsewhere. Having been to Wolski's before, I decided just to take my Highlander there. I dropped it off, intending to pick it up the next day after the work was done. When I arrived home, there was a message from them telling me I didn't even need brakes yet.
Fair priced my ass! Rip off! Tried charging me $350 to replace 1 brake line and then tried to tell me I would have to replace my master cylinder if air got in it (not bleed it, replace it). Typical dig deep in your pockets mechanic shop.
The experience here has always been pleasant, Bill is a upfront straight to the point guy and I always feel like he is not trying cut corners for his own benefit,therefore that's why I will keep bringing my business too him and I recommend that everyone in the Northwest indiana areas give him a try..you won't be disappointed
I would recommend Wolski's without reservation.
Bill took care of our broken strut. He even went above and beyond by saving us money by only replacing the part of the strut that needed to be fixed (instead of replacing the entire strut as a whole). Good service + fair price.
